Chapter VI · Q&A

Questions answered.

What parents and students actually ask. Cost, time, school, parents, selection, outcomes, logistics. Click any question to expand.

01 · Section

Cost

The fellowship itself is free. There is no separate fee. Families pay only the regular Fizzmind camp fee they would pay anyway. The four weeks of expert coaching, the masterclasses, the access to coaches — all of it — is Fizzmind’s investment in the Fellow.

02 · Section

Time commitment

Eight to ten hours a week, on average. About 90 minutes of group masterclass time, two to three hours of 1-on-1 coaching, and the rest is your build time. We design it to fit around school, not replace it.

03 · Section

Parents

Lightly. We send weekly progress notes during the four weeks so parents are informed without being intrusive. We do not expect parents to coach, edit work, or sit in on calls. The fellowship is the Fellow’s.

04 · Section

Selection

No. The fellowship is for students who have already been admitted to Fizzmind through the regular admissions process. Selection happens automatically from your admission data. There is no separate application.

05 · Section

Outcomes

The Fellow keeps every benefit of having been a Fellow. Alumni Slack access. Invitations back as a junior mentor in future cohorts. Coach introductions on request. Recognition of the fellowship in any university or programme application going forward. The seven who do not go to the expo are Fellows for life.

06 · Section

Format and logistics

The four weeks of pre-camp coaching are remote, run over Zoom and Slack. The camp itself is in-person at your chosen Fizzmind location. The expo, for the three picked, is in-person at the venue.
